Tax Supervisor  

Responsible for timely compliance and quality of Tax and statutory matters as per local regulations. Coordination with and provide the requirements of Legal Counsel for on-going tax audit. Monitor current and impending changes to tax regulation and make the appropriate updates to policies and strategies.

Key Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

1) BIR Tax Returns (Review of taxes of FLI, FAIIPI, Promax, Homepro, Leisurepro, SJR, FLC, Cloverleaf and Crystalball):

VAT

Withholding Tax

Income Tax

2) BIR Tax Assessment – preparation of schedule as guided by the Tax Manager.

3) BIR Taxes monitoring - ensure that tax returns are reconciled against GL, ITR and FS and to ease process in reconciling Tax Deficiency in cases of Tax Assessment/s:

VAT

Withholding Tax

4) Local Government

Business Permit

- Monitoring of filing per cluster

- Filing and payment of FLI's business permit in Mandaluyong

Real Property Tax : review and monitoring to ensure that valid inventory has been filed and secured of RPT

5) Tax Filing System – initiate and monitor organization of tax files to be useful for tax audit

6) Entertain transactional queries concerning tax issues from staff and other departments/sections, subsidiaries, affiliates and auditor (including VAT remitted for contracts and response to access letters from BIR)

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• At least 1-2 years Supervisory Level Experienced Employee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
• Certified Public Accountant
• BS Accountancy
• BIR Updates/Training

Technical Competencies and Skills

• Experience in BIR, PEZA, BOI, LGU and other statutory regulatory requirements
• Experience in BIR Audit
• Advance skill in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient in SAP
• Knowledge in Financial Analysis and Reporting
• Experience in Real Estate Developer and/or conglomerate company
• Effective business communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, people management and development skills
