Job Description
- Responsible for planning, analyzing, and creating visual communication products and solution
- Demonstrates high level of proficiency in design, web, and multimnedia software and applications
- Listens to clients and understands their needs before making deign decisions
- Meets with the Sr. Brand Manager/Brand Manager/Brand Team to establish as vision for a product or design
- Performs technical and creative graphic design work. Designs, develops, and produces graphic arts copy material for publication or presentation
- Together with Brands, develops and designs integrated communication materials
- Takes the design "bief" to record requirements and clients' needs
- Proofreads to produyce accurate and high quality work
- Checks job orders and other deliverables for monitoring purposes
- Meets with Junior Graphic Designers to collaborate design
- Performs research on competitors and market trends
- Collaborates with printers to select type of paper and ink, works with suppliers and printers to establish cost and schedule implications for alternative desings; and other staff to guide graphic publication production
- Develops material for web pages, presentations,and interactive media, updates and maintains standards of consistency.
- Prepares visual solution for informational or navigational challenges
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience in lead designer roles or senior designer experience
- Proven graphic designer experience
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, and originality
- Graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Demonstrates excellent software and hand-rendering skills to design products
- Excellent command of verbal and written communication
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, and illustration,
