Job Description

  • Development of design for in store decoration and update brand guidelines and assets across flooring retail divisions, including but limited to window displays, in-store modules, and merchandise displays. Prepares computer-aided designs and artworks based on the overall brand direction.
  • Partners and interacts with Visuals team (Instore decoration and Styling team) to set store-specific visual merchandising strategies. Participates in brain storming sessions of the department and the brand to ensure integrated efforts.
  • Uses independent thinking and judgment to evaluate complex projects and offers recommendations by investigating market opportunities and the impact of current VM standards to sales.
  • Reviews overall business information on a daily, weekly and monthly basis (including but not limited to sales result by store, sales performance by product and SKU, company inventory situation). Takes action based on numerical data in order to create visual merchandising actions at the shop floor to achieve numerical KPIs.
  • Assists in completing administrative functions such as P.O. monitoring, permit processing, direct communication with suppliers, budget setting and confirmation.
  • Communicates directly with store operations team to perform functions relating to the full implementation of projects in across all 60 stores (including but not limited to: ensuring work permit approvals, following up completion reports from stores, coordinating necessary adjustments after implementation of projects)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Textile/Fashion Design or equivalent.
  • ·Strong computer skills, particularly in design software (AutoCad, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Sketch UP) and Office applications.
  • Ability to identify potential Visual Merchandising opportunities and provide creative solutions.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities to maintain deadlines.
  • Ability to think logically, critically and analytically.
  • Ability to strongly grasp numerical data, and understand how to adjust existing actions to adapt to the business and market situation in order to achieve company KPIs.
