Documentation Engineer  

Process and facilitate the following:

• Approval MEPS Matrix (for other contractors and/or consultants of different trades)
• Approval of plans For Construction drawings
• Coordination with Project Management and other contractors regarding MEPS
• Update the status of the project, preparing and supporting documentation and assisting during inspections.
• Timely submission of reports as required by Management, Client, or other Parties.
• All other tasks to be given from time to time.
• Plans, directs, and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
• Reviews contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Schedules due dates for drawings, specifications, software, technical manuals, and other documents.
• Monitors status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
• Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Submits project documentation to management for approval, and transmits approved documents to the client, consultant, and other contractors.
• Confers with engineers, managers, customers, and others to discuss the project, prepare documents, or modify contract schedules.
• Gathering necessary supporting documents from engineers/site coordinators for billing compliance.
• Archiving of project documents and maintenance of the same
• Other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor

• A graduate of Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering;
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
