Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Project Engineer is to assist Managers to manage various projects of the company.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In-charge of the management of various projects
- Ensure all areas are ready for installation
- Review and revision of MEPS Matrix
- Revision and issuance of Plans for Construction drawings
- Site verification, measurement and marking of utilities
- Mapping of all utility requirements on site
- Monitoring of site progress concerning MEPS utilities
- Coordinate with Project Management, Owner and other contractors regarding MEPS requirement and wall set-outs
- 3. Ensure all equipment are delivered to their position
- Review of Technical Specifications, preparation and submission of DMAS in order to get approval from Client/Consultant
- Coordinate with Material Management for the procurement of the imported equipment and accessories
- Coordinate with Administration Division and FEII for manufacturing of local equipment
- Monitor status of all equipment
- Coordinate with Client/Project Management/General Contractor to secure delivery permits
- Coordinate with Administration Division and Transportation and Logistics Division to deliver items
- 4. Ensure all installation materials and tools are available
- Prepare Materials and Tools Request Forms as required by Warehouse
- Coordinate with Service Department for the preparation and request of the Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Coordinate with Warehouse for the release and return of materials and tools
- Assess manpower needed for the installation and verify their output/performance
- Coordinate with Project Executives regarding any deviation from the original Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
- Coordinate with all parties involved regarding the Testing and Commissioning and final Handover, prepare and submit documents as required by the project
- Coordinate with Administration Division for collection
- Update the status of the project, preparing supporting documentation and assisting during inspections
- Update the Time Schedule (Gantt Chart)
- Lead all works on site
- Ensure safety at site
- Timely submission of reports as required by Management, Client or other parties
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree with a Professional License (Passed Licensure Exam) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Civil Engineering
- Required skill(s): project management, documentation, analytical, problem solving, AutoCad.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work at Magallanes,Makati City (also willing to relocate to Makati)
