Paralegal  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cut across all affiliated companies under Fabtech group (Fabtech Kitchens Unlimited, Inc., Fabtech Export Industries, Inc., Fabtech International Corporation, Fabtech Masterbuilders Corporation, Gruppo Dolci Inc., Filipinas Oro de Cacao, Inc., Gelateneo Philippines, Inc.)

Must always consult and confirm with Legal Counsel/President for outputs prior execution or submission.

1. Attend corporate meetings, prepare corporate resolutions, secretary's certificates, and log board minutes.
2. Prepare and process application papers to Securities and Exchange Commission for any amendment or revision to Articles and By-laws of the Corporation.
3. Write legal correspondences (i.e. demand letter to clients, suppliers, and other contractors)
4. Draft affidavits, undertaking, sworn statements, contract of lease, usufructuary, and other agreements.
5. Conduct initial review and annotate contracts for approval/edits of Legal Counsel.
6. Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles pertinent to the operations of the Corporation.
7. Prepare case docket folders by gathering and arranging evidence and other legal documents for review of Legal Counsel and case preparation.
8. Schedule and confirm court dates, appointments, and meetings.
9. Attend mandatory conferences, hearing, clarificatory meetings before labor, fiscal and court.
10. File or get exhibits, briefs, information, complaint, and other legal documents to/from the fiscal or court.
11. Review legal materials for internal use.
12. Together with Admin Officer, develop policies/SOPs with regard to company operations.
13. Attend to other tasks either unique to the Corporation or simply "as assigned".

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor of Laws but Bar eligibility is not required.
• Required skill(s): basic legal knowledge on Philippine laws, good oral and written communication skills, MS Office proficiency.
• Applicants must be willing to work/relocate in Makati City.
