Job Description
The Team Manager is responsible for developing production employees to achieve individual, company, and client goals, while overseeing the work activities of assigned production employees. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support the quality performance and sales skills of agents by providing accurate response to questions with a sense of urgency during call processing.
- Provide positive, consistent, fair, and committed leadership to the team.
- Actively pursue a team environment focused on the achievement of the project's high quality standards and high performance goals.
- Recognize their team's deficiencies and develop action plans to overcome them.
- Meet goals and complete related reports.
- Provide effective feedback and coach to the agents.
- Recommend innovative suggestions on incentive programs to motivate floor staff.
- Provide coverage on the floor as directed.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably with management and/or call center experience.
- At least 2 years of related work experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in budget, forecasts, and expense management.
- Assertive self-starter who can work independently and still function in a team environment.
- Excellent organization, planning, time management, and analytical skills.
- Strong team building, interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills.
- Ability to lead and supervise in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to manage a diverse workforce.
