Web Developer  

We are seeking a highly competent web developer (back end and front end) to help our web design team in Manila. Initially, we are seeking someone for about 15 hours per week, with a view to go full-time.

Skills required:

• Ability to customise Wordpress themes and work closely with the agency’s web designer to deliver websites
• Familiar working with WP Engine hosting a bonus
• Wordpress maintenance (like updating plugins, themes, back-ups, etc)
• Wordpress migrations - to and from other hosts
• Developing best-practice responsive sites - cross browser and screen sizes
• Integrating external services (email marketing, events, CRMs, etc)
• Familiar working with and customising Ninja Forms
• Setting up DNS for websites and email
• Coding responsive email marketing templates for MailChimp and Campaign Monitor
• If you know Shopify Liquid - that would an advantage, but not essential

We will also ask you to set-up the tools that you require (For example, JIRA, GitHub, etc)

We are a marketing agency - but we build a lot of websites. We’ve been “making do” without a developer for the past 12 months - but we’re at the point where are projects are becoming more complex (outside of our knowledge) so we need assistance.

If you’d like to be part of a team with a kick-ass designer and marketing assistant in Manila, we’d love to hear from you. Applicants working from home is fine - but you may need to have the occasional in-person meeting with our web designer from time to time. (Office is in Ortigas)
