Job Description
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with relevant clients, government officials, and media representatives, private sector, multi-lateral institutions and 3rd party arrangements and use these relationships to execute client engagements and to develop new business opportunities for Corporate and Public Affairs. (C&PA)
- Lead, mentor, and manage corporate and public affairs staff in the execution of client engagements and in the personal and institutional development of Evident and C&PA staff.
- As necessary and appropriate, engage in the processes of advisory, writing, research and relationship management on behalf of clients.
- Participate in the creation, activations, evaluations and alignment of various communication strategies, tactics and products in support of client engagements. Including, as necessary, the following:
- Stakeholder Mapping and messaging development
- Communications Plans
- Advise as to advertising, public relations, community stakeholder relations and promotion programs.
- Special events or other activities that support and communicate the client’s engagement.
- Respond to requests for advice, consultation and other client requests in line with the client engagement.
- Assign, supervise, and review the activities of C&PA staff.
- Formulate policies and procedures related to C&PA activities
- Facilitate internal communications between C&PA team, and the relationship between other departments and activities of Evident
- Participate in internal R&D activities and other personal development activities of Evident Staff.
- Participate in Business Development activities as appropriate
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years work experience in corporate communications, public policy, or similar roles
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
