Job Description
- Create feasibility study, 10-year plan, budget, and forecasts
- Review closing (balance sheet and P&L) provided by accounting
- Prepare reporting package including P&L of the Supermarket Business Unit, including: consolidated figures of retail sites, variance analysis of operating and support sites, variance analysis of KPIs, summary of investments (CAPEX) and variances
- Opex and Capex control
- Analyze margins, waste and shrinkage and drive action plans
- Audit to ensure the accuracy of the sales/ purchases/ expenses
- Stock Management (system improvement of inventory module, define and monitor action plans related to stock level)
- Supply chain performance (report, KPIs, feasibility study)
- Monitor of purchase of assets compare to budget, determine store asset management procedure
- Propose retail accounting practices (recording rules, allocation of expenses, provisions, depreciation). Develop necessary system improvements in coordination with IT
- Coordinate store opening by ensuring that system and processes are in place (receiving setup, CCO and cash operations, POS, accounting setup and processes)
- Validate vendor's and concessionair/consignment contracts
- Provide merchandise team statistics and projections
- Participate in recruitment of store and head office retail accountants
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting. Must be a CPA.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including financial closing and operational control management
- Background in retail or hospitality is preferred
- At least a supervisory level experience
- Willing to relocate to/ work in Tabaco City, Albay
