Job Description
- Analyze architectural plans and actual measurements.
- Prepare a materials cost estimate for all types of construction from interior fit-out to ground up construction.
- Keep track and record all site activities and costs being expended on the project.
- Preparation and summaries of all measured works.
- Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations, etc.
- In charge of preparing Tender documents including pricing.
- Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.
- Maintain all QS documents and logs / registers applicable.
- Co-ordinate with all company departments as required for the execution of the Project.
- Prepare cutting list/ production requirements
- Check all contract documents if being followed on site
- Review shop drawing and details if compliant with contract documents
- Perform other related duties that may be deemed necessary.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are per specifications and approved submittals.
- Check materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements.
- Perform measurement and valuation as needed by Project Manager
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
- Board of Architectural or Civil Engineering passer / Civil Engineer license holder is an advantage
- Computer literate and Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
- Hardworking and has a keen eye for details.
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- 2 years of work experience in the same discipline.
- Proficient in the English language, both oral and written.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
