Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic Account Managers to help the company grow and maximize the value of our client relationship. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships

An effective Account Manager must be an excellent communicator and have superior people skills and must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and doubts.

THE ROLE:

  • Growing the profitability of a portfolio of clients by retaining and developing existing relationships.
  • Assisting clients with any related issues, including product education, system use, loan applications, and arrears management.
  • Working closely with internal and external partners including Business Development Managers, Credit Officers, Referral Partners to deliver an integrated and seamless experience for clients.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products and services, with and without using scripts
  • Answer questions about products of the company
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and provide nad close solutions
  • Direct prospects to the sales team when needed
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Take and process requests in an accurate manner
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company's reputation
  • Go the "extra mile" to meet client needs and facilitate future sales
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
  • Contact clients to collect arrears as required
  • Carry out any other duties required to fulfil the role

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in telephone-based sales/customer service role
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting targets
  • Good knowledge and relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
