Job Description
- Supervise and direct all aspects of spirulina commercial farm production and internal training farm associated with smallholders program. Including adherence to protocols and best practices
- Plan production schedules, costs and budgets for the smallholder farms associated with this project; review and adjust as needed with the Smallholder Program Manager
- Help ensure Farms production targets and quality product to EnerGaia processing facilities
- Manage day-to-day on site issues as they arise (attendance, leaves, etc)
- Support, recommend and review purchasing of equipment and materials for farm operations, working closely with procurement and finance managers
- Monitore, Control and Enforce Quality Procedures at all farms to meet EnerGaia’s quality standards
- Prepare a summary report of all QC issues on a monthly basis or upon request
- Give support and coordinate deliveries of product or equipment that may go in or out from the farm or warehouse
- Collaborate with sites visits from external visitors
- Manage all stages of land preparation prior farm set up
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Agriculture/Aquaculture, Master is plus
- At least having working experiences 3 -5 year in Farm Manager
- Experience in Managing team who work doing farm and groundwork labor
- Be able working under pressure
- Willing to be placed in Teluk Bogam and Kubu area
- Able to speak and write in English
- Have driving license
- Creative; results-oriented; data-driven
- Ability to communicate well with their local community and college
- Basic knowledge working with tools and machinery
- Familiar with control quality systems, and good water safety standards
- Good computer skills
- Attention to details
- Excellent communicator; strong work ethic; strong manager; team player
