IT Generalist
ENDECGROUP provides governance, management, information, and administrative support services to its affiliated companies in the industries of design, engineering, construction, health sciences, and project development and management. With our company’s quantum expansion and business growth, we are looking for a solution-oriented IT Generalist who will be responsible for providing overall technical support to the entire organization such as computer set up and configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receipt, evaluation, prioritization, and support for incoming requests from end users experiencing problems with hardware, software, network, telephone, and other IT-related issues.
- Query end users to collect information regarding problem and lead user through basic diagnostic steps to determine the issue’s root cause.
- Diagnose and troubleshoots system issues and apply respective resolutions. Ensure all end user issues are addressed and resolved within reasonable timeframe to meet or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Sets up employee workstations through hardware and software installation and configuration.
- Monitors and maintains computer systems (including call management system), database, servers and networks.
- Provisioning new users on various systems such as Microsoft Windows/Azure as well as 3rd party applications.
- Provisioning laptop hardware for new users.
- Analyzes user requirements and implements systems to meet business needs. Evaluates technology and solutions as needed.
- Analyzes systems and processes to increase productivity and efficiency, presents recommendations to management or higher-level technical staff. Fine tunes systems to optimize performance based on feedback and monitoring.
- Monitors back-ups of systems and restores files as needed.
- Consults with vendors as needed to implement new systems.
- Upgrades aging user equipment on established hardware refresh cycles.
- Maintains IT inventory/asset tracking.
- IT project work as assigned (such as application, server, or network upgrades).
- Participate in new user onboardings/orientations to assist with initial user setup issues.
- Administers and monitors our firewall technology.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field.
- Must have at least 5 years of extensive experience in providing in-house IT support.
- Technical knowledge in hardware, software, and networking.
- Hands-on assembly and troubleshooting experience.
- Willing to work in Alabang Muntinlupa.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac Os
