IT Specialist
ENDEC Group is a Philippines-registered company with years of experience in providing governance, management, information, administrative services, and support processes to affiliated companies and related industries in construction and design. With our company’s quantum expansion and business growth, we are looking for a highly competent, sharp analytic skill, detailed attentive, and multi-tasking IT Specialist who will be responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues. Someone with in-depth knowledge of various computer hardware and software technologies, with an amiable personality and an aptitude for customer service.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You will work in positions using computer-based information systems.
- You will work with both network and software applications and computer hardware.
- You will have an expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Project and other Computer Applications (Adobe Acrobat, Smart Draw, etc.).
- You will have a previous technical support role and be familiar with a range of software and hardware.
- Running internet/network tests and testing firewalls, creating patches, or implementing new protocols as needed
- Optimizing systems to ensure the network is supportive and responsive
- Studying devices and implementing the best security protocols for everything from cell phones to tablets to laptops.
- Offer technical support to company staff and troubleshoot computer problems.
- Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, and software
- Install and update company software and hardware as needed.
- Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items.
- Prepare inventory status reports (Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics).
- Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
- Provision of backup infrastructure solution
- Can reformat and recover the original windows operating system of units.
- Assemble, reformat, and upgrade computer hardware and software
- Regular check-ups and diagnosis of performance of IT machines as well as recommend sound and practical IT interventions.
- Troubleshoots internet connectivity and recommends technology upgrades.
- Inventory of IT Assets (allocation, maintenance, disposal)
- Evaluate functionalities of all platforms/ applications, and recommend integrations.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree of BS in computer science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as IT/ Network Administrator
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication ability, both written and verbal.
- Personable, professional demeanor.
- Willing to be assigned to Muntinlupa
