Job Description
- Manage parts of construction projects
- Oversee building work
- Undertake surveys
- Check technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Supervise contracted staff
- Ensure project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets, and/or timescales
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
- Provide technical advice and solving problems on-site
- Prepare site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Liaise with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
- Ensure that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering;
- Licensed as a professional engineer;
- 10 years of experience in general construction is required;
- At least 5 years of proven work experience in the same position is required;
- Experience working outside the Philippines is highly preferred;
- Must be willing to be assigned for a project in the Marshall Islands.
