Job Description
Manages the development of a highly competent and driven Credit & Collection team, performs credit & collection duties to ensure that the company meets its targets and delinquent accounts are kept at a minimum level.
Job Description
1. Oversees the day-to-day credit operations and ensures collection targets are clearly communicated and met:
• Sets Credit & Collection operations productivity targets and monitors achievement monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Monitors the efficacy of credit and collections strategies and programs and takes corrective action where needed.
- Conducts periodic credit reviews and audits.
-Coordinates with internal departments and tie-up banks, ensuring professional relationships are established.
2. Planning, evaluating, implementing, and continuously improving all aspects of credit & collection functions and processes. Identifies areas for process/ policy improvements processes in accordance with customer needs and company’s requirements and provides opportunities for team members.
3. Encourages the team to make certain operational decisions at their level, sets the guidelines to ensure a healthy balance between balancing credit policies versus business objectives.
4. Ensures that Credit & Collection is within company standards and provides the needed support and service levels to attain performance targets.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
· At least 3-5 Years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Required Skill(s): strong systems skills; solid collection, analytical, and negotiating skills; effective oral and written communication skills; and a solid knowledge of commercial credit and collection laws.
· Can work in a fast-paced environment and be able to thrive under pressure.
