Job Description

  • Perform good services in handling user request and troubleshoot software and hardware problem either face to face or over the phone
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications
  • Desktop / Laptop repair related operating system issue, application error, analyzing hardware problem and report to vendor
  • Request functional ID for daily activity
  • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports
  • Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
  • Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 2 - 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, experience in supporting Windows XP, Windows 7 desktop/laptop PCs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware issues and replacing hardware on both esktop and laptop PCs.
  • Experience installing software, patches, updates on Desktops, Laptops.
  • Experience troubleshooting basic network, software, printing problems.
  • User service experience is must.
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other IT team.
  • Qualified for testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Having knowledge or experience in technical support, networking configuration and workstation maintenance.
  • Have a good communication skill to communicate with users and high level users.
  • Highly motivated and willing to learn new technologies, ability to work in demanding situation.
  • Having knowledge and experience with hardware and software issue.
  • Taking ownership of problems and tracking them to a successful conclusion.
  • Having knowledge to troubleshoot hardware problem.
  • Having good analysis in handling software issue.
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent.
