Job Description
The Service Supervisor is mainly responsible for managing a division of the Service Department and its team members to ensure that the company's customers are attended to in a timely and effective manner. He / She will be required to assess customer concerns and decide on workable solutions to resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. The one fit for the position should be able to efficiently schedule Technician job orders, manage overall workflow, and decide on courses of actions to resolve all issues and other special requests relative to the scope of the Service Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and oversees the operations of the Service Department.
- Develops standardized procedures and policies to ensure a consistent level of service to customers
- Facilitates after-sales concerns and analyzes possible courses of actions to resolve issues
- Schedules and deploys Service Technicians for job orders
- Organizes and maintains proper documentation (paperwork and pictures) of customer records
- Coordinates job orders with Third-Party (Subcontractors) Partners
- Gives recommendations on how to improve workflow and current processes.
- Reports and updates the Management Team on the overall status of the Service Department
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) Or Engineering (in any field)
- At least 3 years of work experience in a related customer-service field or industry.
- Has experience in managing people and schedules.
- Excellent time and workflow management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and monitoring skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications for reporting and Basic Email as a communication tool.
- Proficient in English and as a written and verbal language.
- Knowledgeable about basic construction materials/usage of hand tools is a bonus.
