Job Description
- Sign and seal electrical plans for permits, for construction drawings, for tender drawings, for information, for schematic design, for design development, for construction bulletin, and other related electrical plans as required
- Prepare electrical plans, estimates and permits for all electrical projects
- Coordinate existing or potential electrical engineering projects and products with the relevant parties (Engineers, architects, management, customers, etc.)
- Review and analyses construction methodologies and recommendations for the best option prior to execution at site
- Prepare contract documents for construction, specifically electrical projects.
- Design and improve electrical circuits, components, systems, equipment, etc.
- Prepare bill of quantities for electrical works/projects
- Prepare electrical schedules and manpower on a given project
- Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment
- Coordinate with client/ consultants for any site instructions and inspections of works
- Develop standards (e.g. installation, maintenance and operating standards) and specifications for electrical systems, equipment or products.
- Review electrical test results, quality inspection reports, factory acceptance test, results, and other reports related to electrical works
- Monitor electrical project schedules or deadlines, materials, tools and equipment, manpower and budgets for all electrical projects
- Ensuring health and safety codes are obeyed at all times
- Inspect on-going and completed electrical projects
- Investigate and solve technical failures
- Investigate electrical works if complying with the Philippine Electrical Code
- Prepare electrical project accomplishment reports
- Maintain current Professional Electrical Engineer’s License or PRC identification card to meet government regulations
- Inspection for cleanliness before, during and after electrical works
- Performs other job related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer
- Must have a knowledge in Philippine Electrical code
- Must be able to adapt infrequent work changes
- Must be able to handle multiple projects
- Must have excellent decision-making skills
- Preferably with COSH certificate
- Proficient in using AutoCAD, SCADA, DIALux and MS Office
