Job Description
The Accounting Associate for Accounts Receivable is responsible for recording transactions affecting the accounts receivables and resolving any discrepancies found by coordinating with the other departments.
Job Description
- Posting and applying customer payments, refunds, and credit memos on Quickbooks
- Auditing sales invoices and making revisions as needed
- Reviewing collection reports against collection receipts
- Recording bank deposits
- Monitoring and tracking bad debts and uncollectible accounts
- Other Accounting-related tasks as may be assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of any accounting related course; e.g. Accountancy, Accounting Technology, etc.
- Has good analytical and reasoning skills
- Has a strong attention to detail
- Organized and timely with their workload
- Can work unsupervised
- Takes initiative and eager to learn
