Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for designing strategic sales plans and policies, together with the Executive Committee, and driving its implementation. The Sales Manager is also responsible for leading, mentoring and measuring the performance of a team of Sales Agents to achieve growth objectives, sales volume targets, and gross profit targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Establish sales objectives forecasting and developing sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
- Achieve company sales objectives by successfully leading, managing, coaching and monitoring the performance of Sales Agents
- Provide on-the-ground support for Sales Agents to generate leads and close new accounts
- Maintain and grow customer base, sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping up-to-date on current events and changing trends in the market by reading industry publications, gathering intel from various stakeholders, and attending technical seminars
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs, and assess and improve the quality of the relationship
- Provide various sales, revenue, and expense reports and create realistic forecasts
Minimum Qualifications
Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or related course
- At least 8 years experience in the commodity, FMCG, or related market
- At least 4 years managerial experience
- Background in Finance is a huge plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
- Strong interpersonal skills, negotiating skills, and relationship-building
- Strong ethics and high level of personal and professional integrity
