Job Description
An Accounting OJT will be exposed to different functions of the department such as verifying approval and completion of any request of disbursement, processing of payroll, handling the Petty Cash Fund, banking and tax compliance, and assisting on other related works required on the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Making sure all expenses have been authorized prior processing payments
- Assisting in preparation of payroll for the Logistics Department
- Recording expenses on Petty Cash Replenishment sheet to be used as base for weekly
- replenishment
- Filling out Petty Cash expenses voucher for proper filing
- Preparing deposit slips and other bank documents as required
- Preparing BIR 2307 when needed
- Generating VAT report through BIR VAT Relief program for the monthly filing
- Observing timeliness of disbursements to prevent penalties
- Lending support for any company/department-wide projects
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Currently taking any accounting related course; e.g. Accountancy, Accounting Technology,
- Finance
- Required at least 200 hours of OJT
- Has good analytical and reasoning skills
- Organized and timely with his/her workload
- Keen to details
- Takes initiative and eager to learn
