Job Description
- Conduct site inspection prior to project commencement
- Provide cost estimates based on existing construction plans
- Construction safety. Execute a safety plan that protects manpower from harm, illness, death, loss, and damage to property. Regularly inspect tools and equipment for safety and efficiency. Record all safety incidents and conduct necessary investigation. Communicate and promote safety standards to all workers and ensure compliance.
- Detailed construction/shop drawings. Submit using AutoCAD
- Materials. Monitor materials at site and report to head office the monthly ending inventory
- Construction schedule. Ensure project is within allowable timeframe.
- Attend project site meetings and prepare necessary reports.
- Report construction defects, propose rectification and carry out approved modifications
- Provide training for workers on the proper use and maintenance of project tools and equipment.
- Document progress of projects from start to finish through pictures and pertinent documents such as COC (Certificate of Completion), etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- Must have adequate knowledge in AUTOCAD and MS Project;
- With experience in estimation;
- Must have excellent communication skills-both oral and written
- Must have good organizational and presentation skills;
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
