The Internal Audit Head, being accountable directly to the Board Audit Committee (BAC) and to the President and CEO of eBusiness Services, Inc., shall:
- Overall manage the Internal Audit Department (IAD) of eBiz and provide direction and oversight in the development of its Annual Audit Plan and the ongoing conduct of IAD services.
- Report significant audit issues related to the processes for controlling the activities of the Company, and its affiliates, including potential improvements of those processes.
- Provide information concerning such issues discovered, through resolution.
- Approve the release of Audit Reports and the Auditor’s assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Company’s processes for controlling its activities and for managing its risk.
- Provide information periodically on the status and results of the approved Audit Plan, as well as the sufficiency of IAD resources.
- Develop an audit methodology and programs that would ensure that members of the IAD adhere to the Company’s IAD standards, local regulations for the IAD functions, and the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (ISPPIA).
- Serve as the central point of contact representing the IAD during regulatory or principal examinations, which shall coordinate the resolution of major issues cited about IAD to BAC and the President and CEO.
- Provide the regulators or principals with their particular requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a 4-year business course – preferably CPA, CIA, CFE, CRA or CISA.
- At least 2 years experience in the regular audit of a Rural Bank or 1 year experience in the internal audit of a Universal or Commercial Bank or national Coop Bank as Auditor-in-charge, Senior Auditor, or Audit Manager.
- Willing to be assigned on field and out of town assignments.
