Job Description
- Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
- Produce high quality dishes both design and taste wise
- Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
- Fill in for planning and directing food preparation
- Developing a cross-marketing strategy in order to increase profit, such as pairing drinks with the food served
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
- Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customer
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours
- Make sure that the professional equipment is in good conditions and signal any malfunction before it affects the staff or the clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least finished a Diploma Course or Vocational Course in Culinary Arts or equivalent.
- A strong background in the kitchen (hot and cold).
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
