Dispatcher/Scaler - Limay  

Duties and Responsibilities:

DISPATCHER/SCALER - SAP operator for sales order fulfillment, coordination with dispatch points (packhouse, warehouse, vessel)

• Communicate with customers to coordinate paperwork and freight movement in a timely manner.
• Schedule drivers to pick up and deliver loads to customers or vendors.
• Responsible for keeping records, monitoring driver daily logs for errors or violations and monitoring drivers' working hours and equipment availability
• Knowing of all your drivers' locations in order to flag potential issues.
• Organizes work load by evaluating routes, trucks and drivers at beginning of each shift, evaluating the factors that impact on-time delivery and anticipating/ addressing problems before they arise.
• Tracks drivers and shipments to ensure on-time pickup and delivery within established “windows", responds appropriately and timely to notifications of unexpected events, maintains accountability for timely execution of assigned loads by communicating effectively across shift or other changes and ensures that unexpected events do not result in late or dropped loads.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Has at least 3-4 years logistic coordination / trucking dispatch experience
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills are a must
• Must have strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Ability to multi-task
• Verbal communication is a must
• Knowledgeable in SAP
