Job Description
- Analyzing spatial data through the use of mapping software.
- Discovering patterns and trends through spatial mapping of data.
- Designing digital maps with geographic data and other data sources.
- Developing mapping applications and tools.
- Converting physical maps into a digital form for computer usage.
- Produce reports on geographic data utilizing data visualizations.
- Managing a digital library of geographic maps in various file types
- Management of spatial data related to exploration, mining tenements and lot properties (Cadastral Maps)
- Collect and assess existing GIS information in the area that will be mapped
- Process drone date into 3D maps using photogrammetry software
- Handle the creation of maps, reports, presentations, and other materials
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geology, Computer Science or any related course.
- With experience in operating GIS related software such as ArcMap, QGIS, Google Earth, Pix4Dphotogrammetry, Datamine and associated peripheral devices such as GPS unit, plotters, digitizers, and scanners
- GIS certification a plus.
- Willing to be assigned in Bulacan.
