Job Description
What you’ll be doing:
- Design and build native applications for the Android platform
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts, and best practices for developing mobile apps
- Work closely with colleagues to define, design, and ship new features
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
What will put you ahead:
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Experience with continuous integration.
- Experience in Android development, React Native, and/or Flutter development
Minimum Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Proficiency in Java
- Ability to use the Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease
- Prior experience as an Android Developer
- Excellent coding and code review skills
- Experience with Android SDK and multiple versions of Android.
- Experience with Android framework, as well as offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
