Job Description
- Monitors and coordinates plant operations. Supervises the work activities and production schedules of subordinates to ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements and safety procedures.
- Oversees completion of production plans by scheduling/assigning personnel and equipment, monitoring production progress, revising schedules when needed, and resolving problems.
- Maintains efficient workflow by monitoring plant processes. Initiates and fosters a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing company standards.
- Maintains safe, secure, clean, and healthy work environment by educating and directing personnel on the proper use of all control points, equipment, and resources.
- Ensures plant machinery/equipment/vehicles are operational and in good condition. Calls for repairs when needed.
- Addresses the maintenance and security needs of the plant.
- Participates in the development and revision of systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeeping systems, and budgetary and personnel requirements. Makes recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards and procedures. Implements change.
- Ensures proper record-keeping and documentation of the various aspects of plant operations (production output, inventory, safety incidences, personnel absenteeism, raw materials and equipment, plant expenditures, etc.)
- Maintains plant operations staff by assisting in the recruitment and selection process.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicant must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in any field
- At least 3-4 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
- Preferably 5 & up experienced specialized in purchasing/inventory/material, and warehouse management or equivalent
- Experience in all facets of plant operations and production as officer/supervisor or assistant manager
- Can manage the whole production team
- Good emergency response, general tools usage and following safety instructions
- Willing to work from Monday to Saturday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Willing to render overtime, even during holidays.
