Job Description
The Sr. Telecom Engineer is responsible for the overall management, coordination, implementation, execution, and control of the Telecommunication infrastructure. Work in a project-oriented environment within a truly international team. Perform other duties as required by management.
As a Senior Telecom Engineer, you will:
- Design, implement, migrate, support and execute capacity planning of Unified Communications applications and related network infrastructure Firmwide
- Maintain all Unified Communications technologies including but not limited to Call Manager, Unity, Gateways, Unified Messaging, Telephones, Routers, etc and ensure integrity and security
- Introduce, improve and facilitate operational procedures and day-to-day management of the Firm's telecommunication system
- Evaluate new products, perform network problem resolution and assist in the development and documentation of technical standards and interface applications
- Participate in network planning, network architecture, design and engineering
- Maintain the existing voice & data wiring including patching network connections
- Serve as liaison to telecommunication carriers in order to resolve service issues
- Monitor and manage Unified Communications related hardware, and support contracts
Minimum Qualifications
For you to be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technology or related working experience
- CCNP & CCVP Certifications is an advantage
- 5+ Years Cisco Unified Communications Experience
- Deep knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.X, Cisco CME, SRST, Cisco Unity Unified Messaging 4.X, Cisco IPCC 7.X, Cisco Telepresence, Cisco Unified Video Advantage
- Experience working with Cisco Routers, Switches, Voice Gateways in complex LAN/WAN environments
- Experience working with Cisco Unity Unified Messaging with Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003
- Microsoft Unified Messaging Experience is a plus
