Marketing Coordinator | Davao Area

Job Purpose:

• To ensure that all mall events (GStore, GMarket and Mall) in his/her assigned mall assignment are executed as planned, and that all outputs meet the standards, budget and deadlines set. Furthermore, this position is expected to handle the processing of sponsorships for mall events and at the same time attend to inquiries regarding the lease of mall spaces for events to attract customers and generate business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinates with company staff in setting-up for mall events (GStore, GMarket and Mall itself)
• Supervises the ingress and egress of mall events
• Will be a mall-based coordinator
• Prepares liquidation of expenses incurred for mall events and submits the same to the Marketing Head/Manager for approval
• Recommends sponsorship proposals for his/her assigned mall for the approval of the Marketing Head/Manager
• Reports to Branch OIC for DTR monitoring, event documentation and updates
• Coordinates with head office for any external proposed event
• Reports to head office as directed and necessary
• Coordinates with GStore Associate, GMarket Associate, Mall-events Associate and Specialty Associate for event line-up
• Checks mall signages and collaterals and coordinates with the Marketing Associate (Advertising) for any concern or specific requirements of the mall, provides photo report
• Meets and discusses with clients who would want to do an event at the mall
• Visits the different mall branches to assist in supervising ingress and/or set-up of mall events in the absence of the respective coordinator assigned to the mall (if the need arises)
• Should work hand in hand with the Leasing Department/personnel to help increase foot traffic
• Should develop good working relationship with external parties/offices (e.g. Government office, private and public institutions)
• Performs other tasks as directed from time to time

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Filipino
• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Required Skill(s): leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Keen to details and organized
• Willing to travel
