Mechanical Engineer  

A Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and checking mechanical equipment of the Mall to ensure that all mechanical facilities are in excellent working conditions. He is also responsible in implementing the company standards, policies and regulations and Mall House Rules of safety, cleanliness, and orderliness to all technicians to guarantee the safety of tenants, customers, and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures all store facilities and equipment (escalators, A/C units, elevators, etc.) are in good working condition at all times.
• Identifies proactive maintenance and asset reliability improvement of process and projects.
• Implements standard maintenance program, with the emphasis on planning/ schedule and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Confers with technicians and contractors to discuss and resolve matters related to maintenance and safety.
• Plan and propose scheduled maintenance activities to ensure efficient utilization of the utilities, facilities, and equipment.
• Conducts site supervision, monitoring, and coordination.
• Conduct scheduled and approved branch visits and provide report after every visit.
• Investigate and respond to complaints made by or about business units and tenants, and take necessary corrective actions.
• Inspect mall and tenants’ area, making sure that the design is within the criteria or parameters of company standards and policy.
• Regularly conduct maintenance surveys and safety audits to determine repair/ renovation needs of mechanical equipment of the mall.
• Conducts discussion/meetings with branch Building Administration Officer and Mall Operations-Property Manager on feedback and updates.
• Complete check in inspections and inform maintenance technicians of deficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate, complete and updated facility maintenance records and reports.
• Document the progress of existing initiatives and status of facilities.
• Coordinate with other business units and contractors necessary for the effective performance of their duties and responsibilities in maintaining the mall.
• Attend in Preconstruction meetings and other necessary meetings.
• Perform other related duties assigned by the Management.

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer
• At least 1-year experince in related field
• Good communication skills (written, oral and listening
• Can handle multiple priorities
• Can plan, organize, prioritize and perform multiple task
• Can adapt to new technology
• Sound analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to make good, independent decisions and be able to effectively deal with stress
• Well-developed time management skills including the ability to identify, prioritize and complete tasks and projects in an effective and timely manner
• Has a keen eye for details
