Computer Maintenance Technologist III  

The NPMO is responsible for managing and directing the Bus Rapid Transit and road-based public transport reform initiatives of DOTC nationwide. This office will: deal with matters relating to policies and strategies, assist Project Implementation Units, prepare new project proposals, and monitor the programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:*

1. Install computers and perform diagnostics on computer hardware.
2. Assist users of micro-computers and standard software systems at installation and when problems occur;
3. Install new computer programs on particular hardware and operating systems configurations;
4. Install new peripheral units and making necessary parameters adjustments in operating systems and drives;
5. Install, maintain and update computer programs by making changes and adjustments to them;
6. Maintain and update documentation of computer programs and installations; and
7. Apply knowledge of principles and practices in the area of programming and computing in order to identify and solve problems arising in the course of their work.
