Training Specialist III  

The National Program Management Office is responsible for managing and directing the Bus Rapid Transit and road-based public transport reform initiatives of DOTC nationwide. This office will: deal with matters relating to policies and strategies, assist Project Implementation Units, prepare new project proposals, and monitor the programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:*

1. Develop, plan, and conduct capacity building for NPMO, DOTC and other relevant agency, institution or party who will handle the new projects;
2. Manage and assist the implementing bodies during the transition period;
3. Study and analyze jobs performed in an institution by various means, including interviews with workers, supervisors and management, and write detailed post, job and occupation descriptions from data obtained;
4. Advise and work on job and occupation analyses in such fields as personnel administration, manpower research and planning, training, or occupational information and guidance; and
5. Study and advice institutions on further training that may be needed.
