PHP (LAMP) Developer  

PHP (LAMP) Developers create websites, applications, and programs and/or modify existing applications to meet the needs spelled out in System Requirement documents, and Technical Design Documents. The developer analyses user needs through the implementation of content, performance, graphics and capacity; with a thorough knowledge of developing cross platforms that are compatible with Web, Mobile, and video applications, and should be able to complete entire user stories in full stack development (front-end and back-end).

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and improve new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites
• Working through all stages of web development from requirements refinement, development, testing, release and maintenance
• You will be hands on with code writing and implementing all of the technical delivery required to complete solutions for the company on the web
• Working with a project manager - you will lead on a technical level from start to completion the delivery of single companies website solutions, web apps and cloud services.
• You will translate individual project requirements on a technical level into blocks of tasks and prepare timelines
• You will have sole responsibility for web application security and web server backup procedures
• Daily scrum meetings with the project manager to prioritize tasks
• From time to time collaborating with the project manager on requirements, systems analysis and technical design of future solutions
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions of the website; Troubleshoot issues with websites
• Any other task/duty as directed by client/management

• Degree/Certification in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
• Have minimum of years as a PHP L.A.M.P. Developer with a specialty on developing on Wordpress
• Can demonstrate experience using Laravel and provide examples of work and projects
• Can interpret complex Visual Basic and Excel formularization into SQL query building
• Highly organized and experienced in using and updating agile based project management systems
• Can work from a Linux command line
• Follow W3C compliant architecture and write quality and maintainable code
• Significant understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3 and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, etc.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around issues
• Relevant experience and background in Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, Node.js, UI/Unit testing and Open source contributions (GitHub, Google Code, etc.)
• Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
• Familiarity with web standards and usability
• Has strong understanding of usability requirements and good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and developing web services
• Ability to work autonomously in designing and programming in the client’s platforms
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time with strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive about opportunities to improve the companies technologies and solutions
• Exposure to a wide range of current web programming languages and environments
• Strong command of the English language, both oral and written
• Willing to work in Makati City in an early morning shift (6:00 am – 3:00 pm)
