Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Automation Tester/Test Analyst role involves in test planning and execution. He/She is responsible for functional and automated based testing that ensures quality, stability and reliability of the Software applications, produced and delivered on time.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish good relationships with business customers and team members.
- Participate in Test Planning
- Participate in test scenario planning, test automation and test execution which is carried out in an effective and expedient manner
- Responsible in Test Analysis and Design
- Create test scenarios and test cases for Test and UAT environment
- Create test scripts for automated testing for Test environment
- Responsible for Test Execution
- Responsible for Test Reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement of Software QA processes
- Participate in Scrum and Agile processes such as Daily Stand-up meetings, Sprint Planning, Refining meetings, Retrospective meeting and Sprint Demo
- Participate in daily/weekly meetings with the Software Development team to discuss progress and any issues to be resolved

- Rest API Testing – Rest-Assured / Selenium / Charles Proxy (MAC) / Fiddler / Postman
- Functional and UI Testing
- Non-functional Testing
- Performance Testing
- Load Testing - JMeter / Blazemeter / Visual Studio
- Back-Office Data Validation Testing
- Broken Link Validation
- Performance Testing
- Must have a solid understanding of application programming, database and system design.
- Good technical understanding or development experience with the following or similar technologies:
- .NET architecture (MVC, WebAPI, WPF)
- Database design and architecting in SQL Server
- JavaScript, JQuery, and Angular.JS
- Umbraco / SiteCore or any similar Content Management System highly desirable
- Knowledge and experience in the following is an advantage:
- JIRA
- Confluence
- Bamboo Automated Build System
- Octopus Deployment System
- Using cloud infra-structure: AWS
- Google Apps - Hangouts etc
- MS SQL Server/Client 2014/2015
- BrowserStack
- Automated Testing Tool for Functional and non-Functional Testing
- Selenium
- Experience in testing API integrations between systems
- Good understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in SCRUM methodology, in particular software development processes, requirements engineering, configuration management, and software quality management
- A good understanding of the software development process including Agile Methodology
