Job Description

The Revenue Assurance Specialist will be responsible for validating, processing, monitoring, and reporting of expected revenue against payments received. The role will also be responsible for investigating, reporting and analysing point-of-sale adjustments as well as communicating directly with stores via email, in response to POS Adjustment queries only.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Validates, processes, and matches revenue and point-of-sales expectation to payments, including invoicing, claims and credit note processing.
  • Investigates, resolves, and resubmits any rejected claims.
  • Provides insight into variances arising from erroneous point-of-sale processing.
  • Investigates and responds to queries from various divisions including POS Adjustment queries.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve store processes to assist in reducing POS Adjustments.
  • Builds key relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders across the business.
  • Participates in special projects and other ad hoc activities as required.
  • Actively participates in a continuous process improvement within the team.
  • Works with multiple IT platforms and data extracts both internally and externally.
  • Analyzes and resolves point of sales adjustments, with complex product dimensions, point of sales systems and store process management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in data analysis preferably with data reconciliation.
  • Experience in data matching and problem solving.
  • Exposure to a telecommunications environment would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and a willingness to be accountable for performance and output.
  • Prior experience working autonomously and effectively in a fluid, demanding and fast-paced organisation.
  • Knowledgeable in various Telecommunications products and services is an advantage; strong understanding of Telstra products, systems and processes is highly desirable.
  • Hands on experience with utilizing Siebel system is highly regarded.
  • Have excellent customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Professional manner and presentation.
  • Attention to detail and a well ordered approach to work.
  • Computing skills especially with the use of Microsoft applications.
  • Advance computing skills, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Enthusiastic, prepared to use initiative, prepared to learn and self-improve.
  • Strong attention to detail and a well ordered approach to work..
  • Strong command of the English language, both oral and written.
  • Ability to do the following:
  • Adapt effectively to change.
  • Work both autonomously, but with a very strong team ethos.
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality.
