Finance Manager  

Financial Tasks

• Management and supervision of all accounts and finances
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and yearly financial reporting and variance analysis
• Review journal entries, maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare financial reports for management
• Preparation and consolidation during budgeting
• Prepare ad hoc and financial reports, analysis, and statistics as required by management
• Support and work closely with external/ internal auditors
• Carry out monthly preparation of monthly audit schedules
• Carry out a review and improve work processes for efficiency of the department
• Ensure that financial governance and compliance is carried out within the organization

Administrative Tasks

• Maintains administrative staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
• Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Provides supplies by identifying needs for reception, switchboard, mailroom, and kitchen; establishing policies, procedures, and work schedules.
• Provides communication systems by identifying needs; evaluating options; maintaining equipment; approving invoices.
• Purchases printed materials and forms by obtaining requirements; negotiating price, quality, and delivery; approving invoices.
• Completes special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules; monitoring results.
• Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
• Improves program and service quality by devising new applications; updating procedures; evaluating system results with users.
• Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• A degree in Accountancy / Financial Management
• Has managed a financial team under their charge
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in financial accounting
• Working as accountants in construction firms will have an added advantage
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
• Has an experience in ERP, CRM, or equivalent
• Has a sound knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards
• Able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure
• Experienced in recruiting, selecting, and training employees
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
