Job Description
Official Title: Supervising Tax Specialist
Salary Grade: SG22
Job Description:
- Conducts major studies and projects on public finance issues and develops and recommends appropriate policies on taxation, resource management and financial assistance;
- Assists the Chief Tax Specialist in the review of research studies, projects and draft positions of the Department on legislative and policy proposals;
- Attends meetings in connetion with studies conducted by the Division and by DOF;
- Coordinates with concerned offices and agencies with respect to the study and preparation of DOF position on various proposals
- Liaises with the Legislature on matters which concern the Department;
- Renders technical assistance to various parties on matters concerning the Department;
- Assists the Chief Tax Specialist in the supervision and coordination of the activities of the division.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's degree relevant to the job
- Must have 3 years of relevant experience
- Must have 16 hours of relevant training
