Job Description
Our Budget and Management Analysts are housed under the different DBM Bureaus (categorized according to sector and function) that coordinate with all partner government agencies and offices regarding their budget planning and preparation, and program monitoring and evaluation. In particular, Analysts:
- Analyze Budgetary Requests, Work and Financial Plans, and Cash Programs of national government agencies
- Analyze sectoral expenditure on economic services
- Evaluate and recommend levels of expenditure of partner agencies
- Assist higher level technical personnel in providing expenditure analysis
- Prepare Special Allotment Release Orders (SAROs), Notices of Cash Allocation (NCAs), correspondences, and other documents relative to the budgets of partner agencies
- Monitor financial performance of partner agencies
- Provide technical assistance to agencies on budget related matters and other matters that require DBM assistance.
Minimum Qualifications
- Professional Civil Service Eligibility
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
