Job Description
- Confer, interact, and coordinate with Construction Project Managers to consolidate and finalize their forecast for Material Requirement Schedule including consumables, tools, and safety requirement.
- Responsible in the preparation of Material Schedule based on the Bill of Materials provided by CHQ-CON Engineering and shall maintain regularly to monitor overdue materials.
- Establish sequential delivery with the major materials to support Purchase Orders in accordance with the construction work priorities and material availability.
- Coordinate and expedite flow of materials in terms of ordering and delivery schedules with Purchasing and Logistics Head to fit in with the project schedule and construction sites priorities.
- In the event of Contract Variation Instruction due to Design and Plans Revisions, he/she should coordinate with the Engineering, Operations, and QA/QC to identify the changes in materials quantity and specifications and find alternatives that would have a saving impact on the material.
- Update and inform Construction Project Sites on the status of Material Delivery and materials inventory. Coordinate with Site Warehouse on the receiving , storage, and preservation of materials delivered at site and organize information relevant to arrival of materials at site the availabilities at the Warehouse.
- Maintain and keep records about the handling of materials and perform feasibility analysis for future references.
- Assist in Tender Preparation to facilitate the preparation of materials inquiry and fast-track the quotation.
- Perform in the preparation of Request for Quotations and chasing suppliers with the inquiry.
- May performs other duties as necessary or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Civil Engineering, preferably licensed professional.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and ERP databases, Quantity Take-off and Materials Costing, Inventory Management, Procurement, and Logistics.
- At least 3-5 related work experience preferably in contruction industry.
