Job Description
- Plans, strategies, organizes, directs and controls the following operational activities, ensuring that they are performed beyond management and customer expectations:
- Carrier accreditation
- Preparation of Operations Plan and Dispatch Plans within designated timeframe that ensures that service failures are prevented
- Outbound 1 and Outbound 2 documentation activities following applicable standards.
- Inbound 1 and Inbound 2 Documentation activities following applicable standards.
- Sending of pre-alert to branches/cargo agents in a timely manner, following applicable standards and ensures that the same are duly received/acknowledged.
- Ensuring that Cargoes accepted for service fulfillment are properly documented and that volume and aging are monitored for proper scheduling of departure.
- Cargo ship out
- Cargo Monitoring that ensures that current states (a.k.a. status) are available for each cargo subject to monitoring at any point in time that monitoring is a requirement whilst making sure that these information are authentic and verifiable.
- Ensures the adequacy of operational resources are available such as financial, human and infrastructure to ensure that service fulfillment proceeds without impediments.
- Implements contingencies within the bounds that the company allows based on sound decision-making to ensure that service failures are minimized, if not prevented.
- Other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time.
Minimum Qualifications
*The position is for future manpower requirement
- At least 2 years of experience in the related field is required; equivalent experience in the logistics industry preferable.
- Holder of at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably those specializing in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, preferably a Master’s Degree holder
- Knowledgeable of MS Excel/Office/Powerpoint and cloud-based applications and productivity suites such as Google Apps, Dropbox and the like.
- Possess good moral character, hardworking, a team player and can work with minimal to no supervision.
- Willing to work in Navotas City

In April 24th 2009, a sole proprietor business was registered under the Department of Industry (DTI) to cater to corporate clients requiring commercial transport of goods or haulage / trucking solutions from Manila to any point in Luzon. It took VISION and DETERMINATION, for its founder who at that time was only 21 years old to establish his small business under the trade name, ERNEST LOGISTICS SERVICE.
Difficulties during the start-up period of the small business were evident but the young entrepreneur only showed optimism and relentless determination. His idea was to provide simple, effective, and innovative transportation solutions guided by his own personal values of excellence and to create solid partnerships and business relations. In the very same year, hard work had finally paid-off and in October of 2009, the small business launched its core business, its freight management solutions that catered to corporate clients requiring transportation to Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
In March 15, 2012 the sole proprietor business registered under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and was incorporated to what it is now today as Ernest Logistics Corporation.
