Junior Trader | Sales  

We are looking for a Junior Trader who can help grow our client base. He/She will be responsible for developing profitable gains while maintaining good relationships within the client network. The candidate should be able to engage in active trading of equities. Other related tasks may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Must have a firm grasp of both Fundamental and Technical Analyses to identify buying opportunities (equities)
• Can interpret financial statements and extrapolate basic ratios from historical data in order to come up with sound trading decisions
• Should be able to achieve sales targets by trading equities while maximizing revenue generation
• Should be able to source new clients (stock investors) while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing ones
• Responsible for promoting the Company's recommendations to its existing client base
• Excellent client servicing skills (promotion to after sales service)
• Highly adept in conflict management
• Will work closely with the head office in order to ensure active stock trading using our proprietary order booking system

• A graduate/Post Graduate of any business course with a minimum of 2 years of trading experience
• Prior experience from either buy and/or sell side of equities
• Must have passed, or must be willing to take the Certified Sales Representative (CSR) or Equities Securities Salesman (ESS) licensure exam issued by the SEC
• Should have good communication and presentation skills
• Must be a self-starter (proactive and goal-oriented)
• Should possess strong networking and relationship building skills
• Has existing clients in the market
