Burlington Industries, Philippines Incorporated (formerly Mil-Oro Manufacturing Corp.) was established in 1967, for the manufacture and marketing of men's, ladies, and children's socks & accessories. Its first plant was located in Quezon City, operating a very modest number of manned machines with minimal output. In early 70's, the company transferred to San Antonio Village Makati City. In year 1994, the management decided to adopt its present corporate name Burlington Industries Philippines Incorporated as a leader in the industry. Additional plant area and additional machineries like Knitting, Linking, Looping, Seaming, Embroidering, Rotor, ATR, Tumble Dryer, Kettle, Hydro-Extractor & Stitching machines were acquired by the company. Each year, the production capacity continuously grows. In the year 2015, the company acquired additional knitting machines which the production capacity increases to 7.5% per day as against to 2014 production capacity. Burlington Industries, Philippines Inc. is the trademark owner in the Philippines of the following sock brands: Burlington, Bally, Camp, Puma, Knit and Biofresh. The company manufactures full range of sock designs: sports socks, dress socks, casual socks for men, trouser socks, foot cover, stockings for ladies, and school socks for children. With over four decades of solid track record in the hosiery industry, Burlington established the reputation as the socks authority. Burlington enjoys continued patronage from institutional clients such as the SM group, Robinsons group, and other clients and distributors. In addition to that, Burlington expands their product line to meet customer demands, this covers Biofresh foot care products and undergarments. Biofresh foot care include: Flex gel, Sofigel, Biofresh foot powder and Biofresh foot spray. Biofresh undergarments include bra, panty, brief, undershirt, boxer brief, boxer short, t-shirt, and camisole. In the year 2014, the company continuously expands their product line and was able to include the Burlington undergarments: brief, boxer brief, boxer short, and undershirt; then t-shirt was included the following year.
