Job Description
- Ensures coordination of communication between patients and families and medical staff.
- Responds to patient inquiries regarding Physicians and hospital services.
- Responds to patients’ complaints regarding hospital services and ensure that concerns are handled properly.
- Assists patients with problems associated with hospital registration and admission.
- Ensures that all concerns and complaints are directed to the concerned personnel.
- Schedules Meetings with patients or family members.
- Helps in the effects of changes within the hospital to ensure that patient experience is enhanced.
- Suggests improvements to present hospital systems in a bid to make the system more workable.
- Provides feedback to patients and families regarding their concerns and complaints.
- Performs administrative support functions as assigned.
- Analyzes survey/ feedback forms, complaint data, and records regularly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, marketing Public Relations, Psychology, Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- 2-years and above experience in customer service in a healthcare setting or 3-5 years in a non-health care setting are preferred.
- Has the ability to command resources, influence peers and multi- task.
- Excellent written and verbal communications and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and can work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
