Job Description
An Accounting Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing of accounting system including but not limited to parking of payables related to operating expense and capital expenditures, payment processing, and check preparation
- Creation of asset code for capital expediture
- Creation of internal order, budget, and general ledger as needed
- Monitoring of accrual of operating expenses, capital expenditures, and amortization of prepayments
- Performing the settlement of assets and depreciation runs
- Helping in preparation of financial statements, monthly performance reports, and year-end audit requirements
- Filing of returns for Value-Added Tax, Creditable Income Taxes Withheld, Income Tax Return
- Managing the Aphalist reports to BIR
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably CPA holder
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in general accounting and tstatutory requirements and compliance
- Working knowledge in SAP Finance and Accounting modules
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have strong attention to details, organization and prioritization skills
