Job Description
- Maintains (studies, debugs, documents, modifies, extends) existing application programs.
- Design, develops, and documents new application programs.
- Communicates and consults with users to understand their requirements, problems, and existing business processes; to solicit feedback and suggestions; and to suggest, develop, and implement new software-supported processes.
- Trains users in the use of company programs.
- Evaluates software products for possible acquisition.
- Prepares reports and analyses such as progress or status reports, or reports on topics related to company’s informations systems.
- Performs all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
- Graduates in other fields but with programming experience will be considered
- Preferably with programming experience
- Optional but definitely a plus – programming experience in Unix, Lisp, Python, Scheme, PostgreSQL or Linux environment; FoxPro or xBase Languages
- Above average analytical and mathematical ability
- Proficiency in oral and written communication
- Willing to be relocated
