AutoCAD Operator  

• Adjust current drawings and recommend changes based on their understanding and knowledge of the project.
• Design and draft CAD (computer-aided design) drawings.
• Follow project schedules.
• Meet all project specifications and formatting within company standards.
• Meet project due dates.
• Work closely with the project engineers to make sure that the design is precise. Also to ensure and that contract responsibilities are met.
• Accountable for the maintenance of the CAD drawing library.
• Aid in increasing and maintaining quality assurance processes.
• Prepare design presentation materials for sales.
• Review and interpret client specifications.

CAD is the primary way in which our drafters develop plans, drawings and sketches. Using AutoCAD software,, drafters prepare a visual depiction of a product or space to be constructed. Therefore you are expected to have working knowledge of doing 2D drawings in AutoCad and rendering them on 3D. You may also opt to render in 3rd party program such as Sketchup.

Due to time constraints, you are expected to work accurately and promptly.

In addition, applicants with an interest in construction or furniture design will find a good fit in our company. We expect you to have an eye for detail as mistakes on drawings are very costly expecially in furniture design.

We prefer applicants with background in Architecture or Interior Design.
