Job Description
- Identifies all potential product dealers and distributors in his/her assigned territory.
- Gathers and studies information about the dealer/distributor before the approach to ensure proper selection of prospect.
- Seeks support from Marketing, Project Services Dept. and Operations Dept. on matters required in establishing business relations with the selected dealer/distributor.
- Prepares distributorship proposal for selected dealers/distributors for review and approval based on guidelines. Follows-up submitted proposals and determines if re-negotiation or revision is necessary.
- Ensures that the dealer/distributor is supported with marketing collaterals such as brochures, display rack, etc.
- Collects the proceeds of the sale based on agreed terms with the customer.
- Prepares and submits the following reports:
- Daily Collection Report for submission to Credit and Collection Officer.
- Prepares and submits Weekly Itinerary to the Sales Manager for approval and implementation.
- Prepares and submits a monthly list of total and active dealers/distributors in his/her assigned territory.
- Sales projection – monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual
- Monitors competitors’ movements in the market in terms of product and service offerings, pricing and terms, promotional activities, and others that would impact the industry.
- Conducts regular visits to customers to ensure everything has been served as required and a possibility for referrals.
- Performs other functions that may be required by the superiors from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent
- With at least 1-year experience in trade sales
- Customer oriented and a team-player
- Well-organized, diligent, and keen on details
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Knows how to drive and with valid driver’s license
- With high degree of integrity and honesty
